Im going to create a grime magazine with the target audience 14-18.
Grime is a genre of music that emerged in the early 2000s. It is primarily a development of UK garage and drum & bass. Popular artists include Dizzee Rascal, Ghetts, Lethal Bizzle, Skepta, Wiley, Stormy, Nines, Fredo and 67 ( Dimzy, Ld, Asap, Monkey and Liquez )
Mise-en-scene:
The mise-en-scene is specific to the brand image of the artist. An artist will dress in specific clothes and create their music videos in a certain way in order to promote their brand image. In their videos they will be dressed in expensive and well known brands of clothes. This is to portray the image that they can get what ever they want. E.G 'Adidas' and 'Nike' are very often seen as they are extremely well known, can be very expensive and are associated with the Grime genre .
